Kapellen is a former municipality in the district of Bruck-Mürzzuschlag, in the Austrian state of Styria. It lies in the Mürz valley area of the region, within the district that was formed by the merger of the Bruck an der Mur and Mürzzuschlag districts.
Since the 2015 Styria municipal structural reform, Kapellen is no longer an independent municipality; it is now part of the municipality of Neuberg an der Mürz. The reform reduced the number of municipalities in Styria through amalgamations, and Kapellen was among those incorporated into a larger neighbouring community.
