Gratwein is a former municipality in the district of Graz-Umgebung in the Austrian state of Styria. It lies in the region around Graz, the Styrian capital, within whose surrounding district it was administered.
In 2015 Gratwein was merged with neighbouring municipalities to form the new municipality of Gratwein-Straßengel. Since that merger, Gratwein has no longer existed as an independent administrative unit, and it is now a part of Gratwein-Straßengel rather than a municipality in its own right.
