Grafendorf bei Hartberg is a municipality in the district of Hartberg-Fürstenfeld, in the Austrian state of Styria. It is located in the eastern part of Styria, within the Hartberg-Fürstenfeld administrative district, which was formed in 2013 through the merger of the former Hartberg and Fürstenfeld districts.
The municipality is one of several communities that make up this district in Austria's south-eastern region. Like other municipalities in Styria, it functions as a local administrative unit responsible for residents at the community level, with its own municipal government and local services.
