Zederhaus is a municipality in the Tamsweg District of the Austrian state of Salzburg. It is located in the Lungau region, the southeastern part of Salzburg known for its alpine landscape and relatively high elevation.
The municipality lies in the valley of the Zederhausbach, a tributary in the Mur river system, surrounded by the mountains of the Central Alps. Like much of the Lungau, the area is characterized by a rural, sparsely populated setting with a long tradition of farming and forestry.
Zederhaus is one of the municipalities that make up the Tamsweg District, the only district in the state of Salzburg that lies entirely within the Lungau. The nearest larger town is Tamsweg, the district's administrative centre.
