Strobl is a municipality in the Salzburg-Umgebung District, also known as Flachgau, in the northeastern part of the Austrian state of Salzburg. It lies directly on the border with Upper Austria.
The municipality comprises four Katastralgemeinden, or cadastral communities: Aigen, Gschwendt, Strobl, and Weißenbach.
