Oberalm is a market town in the Hallein district of the Austrian state of Salzburg. It lies in the Salzburg region of Austria, within the district whose administrative centre is the town of Hallein.
Oberalm holds the status of a market town (Marktgemeinde), a designation used in Austria for municipalities with a historic market right. It is noted as the burial place of Karl Moik, the Volksmusik singer and longtime presenter of the ORF television programme Musikantenstadl.
