Mühlbach am Hochkönig is a municipality in the St. Johann im Pongau district of the state of Salzburg (Salzburgerland), Austria. It lies in the Austrian Alps, in the Pongau region of the country.
The community takes part of its name from the Hochkönig, the mountain massif that rises above it. Its administrative status is that of a municipality within its district.
