Hüttau is a municipality in the St. Johann im Pongau district, in the Austrian state of Salzburg. It is located in the Pongau region of the state, within the Austrian Alps.
The municipality is situated in a mountainous area of central Austria, in the valley of the Salzach river system. Like other communities in the St. Johann im Pongau district, it forms part of Salzburg's Alpine landscape.
