Ungenach is a municipality in the district of Vöcklabruck, in the Austrian state of Upper Austria. It is located in the Hausruckviertel region of the state, in the Alpine foothills north of the Alps.
As a municipality, Ungenach is one of the administrative units that make up the Vöcklabruck district, which lies in the western part of Upper Austria. The area around it is part of Austria's Alpine foreland, a landscape of rolling hills and farmland.
