Steyr is a statutory city located in the Austrian state of Upper Austria. While it serves as an administrative capital, it is notably not part of the Steyr-Land District.
The city ranks as the third-largest city within the state of Upper Austria and is the twelfth-most-populated town in the country of Austria.
