Sattledt

Austria

Sattledt is a municipality in the district of Wels-Land, in the Austrian state of Upper Austria. It lies in the Traunviertel region of the country, roughly in the centre of Upper Austria, between the cities of Wels and Linz.

The municipality is made up of several small settlements and rural hamlets rather than a single dense urban core, and its surroundings are characterised by the rolling farmland and wooded hills typical of the Alpine foothills. Sattledt sits close to the A1 West Autobahn and the junction of several major roads, which has made it a local transport node and a stopping point for travellers crossing Upper Austria.

Politically it is one of the municipalities that make up the Wels-Land district, whose administrative seat is the town of Wels. As in the rest of Austria, the community is governed by a municipal council and a mayor.
