Ohlsdorf is a municipality in the district of Gmunden, in the Austrian state of Upper Austria. It is located in the Traunviertel region of the country, within the federal province of Upper Austria.
The municipality lies in the Alpine foothills area of Upper Austria, near the town of Gmunden and the Traunsee lake. The district of Gmunden, to which Ohlsdorf belongs, is part of the Salzkammergut region, known for its lakes and mountains.
As a municipality, Ohlsdorf is one of the administrative subdivisions of the Gmunden district, alongside other towns and villages in the area. The community is situated in the northern part of Austria, roughly midway between Salzburg and Linz.
