Marchtrenk is a municipality in the district of Wels-Land in the province of Upper Austria, Austria. It has a population of about 12,500 inhabitants.
The town is situated on the river Traun. It lies within the Wels-Land district, whose administrative centre is the city of Wels, in the federal state of Upper Austria.
