Wolfsbach is a town in the district of Amstetten, in the state of Lower Austria, Austria. It lies in the western part of Lower Austria, within the Mostviertel region, the area of the state south of the Danube known for its rolling hills and farmland.
The town is one of the municipalities that make up the Amstetten district, an administrative area in the foothills of the Alps. As with other settlements in this part of Lower Austria, Wolfsbach is a small, rural community rather than a large urban centre.
