Wolfpassing is a municipality in the district of Scheibbs, in the Austrian state of Lower Austria. It is located in the western part of Lower Austria, in the region known as Mostviertel, roughly midway between the towns of Scheibbs and Wieselburg.
The municipality is a small, rural community typical of the Scheibbs district, an area characterized by rolling hills, farmland, and scattered hamlets rather than a dense urban core. Like many municipalities in Lower Austria, it is made up of several small settlements and cadastral communities grouped under a single administrative unit.
Wolfpassing lies in the foothills of the Alps, near the Ybbs river valley, and is connected to the surrounding region by local roads. Its economy and landscape are shaped mainly by agriculture and the surrounding countryside, with the nearest larger towns providing services and transport links.
