Spillern is a town in the district of Korneuburg, in the Austrian state of Lower Austria. It lies in the northeastern part of the country, within the Weinviertel region north of the Danube and roughly northwest of Vienna.
The town is one of the municipalities that make up the Korneuburg district, an administrative area centred on the town of Korneuburg. As a small Austrian municipality, it belongs to the federal state of Lower Austria, the country's largest state by area, which surrounds Vienna on all sides.
