Schrattenthal is a town in the district of Hollabrunn, in the Austrian state of Lower Austria. It lies in the Weinviertel, the wine-growing region of northeastern Austria, north of the Danube and close to the border with the Czech Republic.
The town is one of the smallest municipalities in Austria by population, with a few hundred residents. It is known for its well-preserved historic centre, which retains parts of its medieval town walls and a castle, and for its wine production, a mainstay of the surrounding Weinviertel countryside.
