Röschitz is a village in the district of Horn, in the state of Lower Austria, Austria. It lies in the Waldviertel, the northwestern quadrant of Lower Austria, a region of rolling hills and granite plateaus bordering the Czech Republic.
The settlement is one of the small communities that make up the district of Horn, an administrative area in the northern part of the state. Like much of the surrounding countryside, the area is rural and agricultural, with a landscape shaped by farmland, woodland and small villages rather than large urban centres.
Röschitz is best known for its wine. It sits in the Weinviertel wine-growing region, and the village and its surroundings are associated with vineyards and local wine production, which remains a defining feature of the area's economy and character.
