Jedenspeigen

Austria

Jedenspeigen is a town in the district of Gänserndorf, in the Austrian state of Lower Austria. It lies in the Weinviertel region of northeastern Austria, an area of low hills and farmland north of the Danube and close to the border with the Czech Republic and Slovakia.

The settlement is one of the small market towns and villages that make up the Gänserndorf district, a largely rural part of the country whose economy has traditionally been based on agriculture. Like much of Lower Austria, the area around Jedenspeigen is characterised by open countryside, small communities and a landscape shaped by centuries of farming.

Jedenspeigen is administratively a single municipality within the district, and its residents are served by the regional infrastructure of the Weinviertel, with larger towns nearby providing services beyond those available locally. The town is connected to the wider region by road, and the nearest major urban centre is Vienna, roughly an hour to the southwest.
