Jaidhof is a town in the district of Krems-Land, in the Austrian state of Lower Austria. It lies in the Waldviertel, the northwestern quadrant of Lower Austria, a region of rolling granite hills, forests and farmland rather than alpine terrain.
The municipality is a small, rural community made up of scattered villages and hamlets rather than a single dense settlement. Its landscape is dominated by woods, fields and small ponds, and it sits within the Kamp valley area, near the town of Gföhl.
Jaidhof is best known for Schloss Jaidhof, a castle that gives the community its name and stands as its principal landmark. The surrounding countryside is used for agriculture and forestry, and the area is also known for carp ponds, a traditional feature of the Waldviertel. Administratively, the town belongs to the Krems-Land district, whose seat is the city of Krems an der Donau.
