Hohenberg is a town in the district of Lilienfeld, in the Austrian state of Lower Austria. It lies in the eastern part of Austria, within the federal province of Lower Austria, which surrounds the national capital of Vienna.
The town belongs to the Lilienfeld district, one of the administrative districts that make up Lower Austria. As a municipality in this district, it forms part of the broader Mostviertel region of the province, an area in the foothills of the Austrian Alps.
