Hochleithen is a municipality in the district of Mistelbach, in the Austrian state of Lower Austria. It lies in the country's northeastern quarter, within the Weinviertel region north of Vienna and near the Czech border.
The municipality is made up of several small villages rather than a single settlement. These include Traunfeld, Wolfpassing, Hochleithen and Bogenneusiedl.
As a rural Lower Austrian community, Hochleithen is typical of the district's agricultural landscape, with its population distributed among the constituent villages that make up the municipality.
