Gaming is a municipality in the district of Scheibbs, in the state of Lower Austria, Austria. It lies in the foothills of the Austrian Alps, in the western part of Lower Austria known as the Mostviertel.
The town is primarily known for an old Carthusian monastery located within its borders. The monastery served as the home and burial place of Duke Albert II of the Habsburg family. It now serves as the main campus for the Franciscan University of Steubenville's Study Abroad program.
