Eisgarn is a municipality in the district of Gmünd, in the Austrian state of Lower Austria. It is located in the Waldviertel, the northwestern quadrant of Lower Austria, a region bordering the Czech Republic.
The municipality is known for its association with the nearby Stift Eisgarn, a former Premonstratensian monastery whose church, the Propsteikirche, is a notable example of Gothic architecture in the region. The settlement itself is small and rural, typical of the villages scattered across the Waldviertel's gently rolling, forested landscape.
