Dobersberg is a municipality in the district of Waidhofen an der Thaya, in the Austrian state of Lower Austria. It lies in the northwestern part of the state, within the Waldviertel region near the border with the Czech Republic.
The municipality is made up of several small villages and settlements rather than a single large town, and it serves as a local administrative centre for the surrounding rural area. The landscape around Dobersberg is characterised by rolling hills, farmland and woodland typical of the Waldviertel.
Dobersberg is known in particular for its castle, Schloss Dobersberg, which stands in the municipality and is one of its main historic landmarks. The area is also associated with the Thaya river valley and the network of cycling and hiking routes that cross this part of Lower Austria.
