Bockfliess

Austria

Bockfließ is a town in the district of Mistelbach, in the Austrian state of Lower Austria. It lies in the northeastern part of the country, within the Weinviertel region that surrounds the district seat of Mistelbach.

The settlement is a small market town typical of the rural communities of the Mistelbach district, an area shaped by agriculture and by its position between Vienna and the Austrian-Czech border. Like other towns in the district, it is administratively part of Lower Austria, the largest of Austria's nine federal states by area.

Bockfließ is best known simply as one of the localities making up the Mistelbach district, and it shares the district's broader character as a quiet, landlocked corner of Lower Austria rather than a major tourist destination.
