Völkermarkt is a town in the Austrian state of Carinthia, with a population of about 11,000. It serves as the administrative capital of Völkermarkt District.
The town lies within the Drava valley, east of Klagenfurt, the Carinthian capital, and north of the Karawanken mountain range.
