Steinfeld is a town in the district of Spittal an der Drau, in the Austrian state of Carinthia. It lies in the southern part of the country, within a district whose administrative centre is the town of Spittal an der Drau.
Carinthia is Austria's southernmost state, bordering Italy and Slovenia, and is known for its Alpine landscape and numerous lakes. The Spittal an der Drau district covers the western portion of the state.
