Schiefling am Wörthersee is a market town in the district of Klagenfurt-Land, in the Austrian state of Carinthia. It lies in southern Austria, within the Klagenfurt-Land district, which surrounds the city of Klagenfurt on the western and southern sides.
As its name indicates, the town is associated with the Wörthersee, the large lake of Carinthia that gives the area its character. Its status as a market town (Marktgemeinde) is the main administrative designation recorded for the place.
