Moosburg is a market town in the Klagenfurt-Land district, in the Austrian state of Carinthia. It lies in southern Austria, within the federal state whose capital is Klagenfurt.
As a market town (Marktgemeinde), Moosburg holds a status in Austrian municipal organization that is distinct from that of a regular municipality or a city. The town belongs to the Klagenfurt-Land district, one of Carinthia's administrative districts.
