Bocksdorf is a municipality in the district of Güssing, in the Austrian state of Burgenland. It lies in the south-eastern part of Austria, within a district whose administrative centre is the town of Güssing.
As a municipality, Bocksdorf is a self-governing local administrative unit, a status it holds within the Austrian system of local government. Burgenland itself is Austria's easternmost state, bordering Hungary to the east and sharing borders with Slovakia and Slovenia at various points.
