Simoca is a city in Tucumán Province, Argentina. It is the administrative centre of the Simoca Department, located in the south of the province within the agricultural lowlands of the Tucumán region.
The city is best known for its market, held on Saturdays, which draws traders and visitors from across the surrounding area. The market is closely associated with the sulky, a small two-wheeled horse-drawn cart that remains in wide use locally, particularly on market day.
Simoca also hosts the national festivals of the feria (fair) and the sulky, celebrations that reflect the city's market tradition and the continuing role of horse-drawn transport in the district.
