La Cocha

Argentina

La Cocha is a settlement in Tucumán Province in northern Argentina. It is located in the southern part of the province, within the department that also bears the name La Cocha.

The town lies in an agricultural region of Tucumán, an area known nationally for its production of lemons, sugar, and other crops. Like much of the province, the surrounding landscape is shaped by the foothills of the Sierras and the flat plains used for farming.

La Cocha is one of several small urban centres in Tucumán that serve the surrounding rural communities. It is connected to the provincial capital, San Miguel de Tucumán, and to other towns in the region by road.
