Rivadavia, officially Ciudad de Rivadavia, is a city in San Juan Province in west-central Argentina. It is the capital of the eponymous Rivadavia Department and lies in the south-central part of the province, northwest of the Tulum Oasis.
The city sits about 7 km (4.3 mi) west of the central part of the city of San Juan. Together with San Juan, it forms part of the urban agglomeration known as Greater San Juan.
