Caucete is a city in San Juan Province, Argentina, and serves as the head town of the Caucete Department. It lies about 25 kilometres southeast of the provincial capital, San Juan.
The city sits at the junction of National Routes 20 and 141. According to the 2001 census conducted by INDEC, Caucete had a population of 33,609 inhabitants.
