La Vina

Argentina

La Viña is a village and rural municipality in Salta Province, in northwestern Argentina. It is one of the many small communities that make up the province's rural interior, administered as a municipality in its own right within the Salta region.

The settlement is defined by its rural character: the municipality covers a wide surrounding area rather than a densely built urban core, and its population is distributed across the countryside. As in much of Salta Province, the local setting is shaped by the Andean north of Argentina, a region known for its dry landscapes and agricultural traditions.

La Viña is not among Argentina's major tourist destinations, and it is distinct from other places bearing the same name. Reliable published information about the village is limited, so travellers should treat it as a small rural locality rather than a developed visitor centre.
