Viedma is the capital and fourth largest city of Río Negro Province, in northern Patagonia, Argentina. It has a population of 57,341 inhabitants.
The city sits on the southern margin of the Negro River, roughly 30 kilometres from the Atlantic Coast and about 960 kilometres from Buenos Aires along National Route 3.
