Rawson is the capital city of Chubut Province in Argentina, located in the Patagonia region of the country's south. It is the chief town of the Rawson Department.
According to the 2010 census, the city had a population of 24,616 inhabitants. As the provincial capital, it serves as the seat of Chubut's government.
