Tigre is a city in Buenos Aires Province, Argentina, located in the north of Greater Buenos Aires about 28 km (17 mi) north of Buenos Aires city. It is the main city and administrative centre of the Tigre Partido.
The city lies on the Paraná Delta, and its position on the delta has made it a tourist and weekend destination. It is reachable by bus and train services, including the scenic Tren de la Costa.
