Miramar is a city in Buenos Aires Province, Argentina, located on the coast of the Atlantic Ocean about 450 km (280 mi) south of the city of Buenos Aires. It is the administrative seat of General Alvarado Partido.
The city's name derives from the Spanish words mira ("view") and mar ("sea"), referring to its position on the Atlantic coast.
