General Las Heras is a town and municipality in the north east of Buenos Aires Province, Argentina. It lies 67 km from Buenos Aires City and 120 km from La Plata, the provincial capital, on Provincial Route 200. It is the head town of the General Las Heras Partido.
According to the 2001 census (INDEC), the town had a population of about 13,000.
