Sopot is a village located in eastern Albania. It is situated in a region characterized by the country's inland terrain, away from the Adriatic coast that defines much of Albania's geography.
Administratively, Sopot's status has changed with Albania's municipal reorganization. It was previously part of the former municipality of Stravaj before being incorporated into the municipality of Prrenjas following the 2015 local government reform.
