Picar is a village and a former municipality in Gjirokastër County, in southern Albania. Following the 2015 local government reform, it became a subdivision of the municipality of Gjirokastër rather than a municipality in its own right.
The municipal unit is made up of five villages: Picar, Shtëpëz, Kolonjë, Golem and Kaparjel. At the 2011 census, the population of the unit was 937.
All of the villages within the Picar municipal unit are inhabited by Bektashi Albanians, a distinguishing feature of the area's demographic makeup.
