Funarë is a former municipality in Elbasan County, in central Albania. Following the 2015 local government reform, it ceased to be a municipality in its own right and became a subdivision of the municipality of Elbasan.
At the 2011 census, Funarë had a population of 2,122. As a municipal unit, it is made up of nine villages: Bixelle, Branesh, Precë e Sipërme, Cerruje, Korre, Mollagjesh, Krrabë e Vogël, Precë e Poshtme and Stafaj.
