Melan is a village and a former municipality in Dibër County, in northeastern Albania. Following the 2015 local government reform, it became a subdivision of the municipality of Dibër rather than a municipality in its own right.
At the 2011 census, Melan had a population of 3,649. The settlement lies within Dibër County, one of the country's twelve counties, in the mountainous northeastern part of Albania.
