Masdar City is an urban community located in the Abu Dhabi region of the United Arab Emirates. It was developed by Masdar, which operates as a subsidiary of the state-owned Mubadala Investment Company.
The project received the majority of its seed capital from the government of Abu Dhabi. The city was established as a planned urban development within the capital territory of the UAE.
