Samson is a city located in Zambia.
The name Samson also refers to a biblical figure who served as one of the last judges of the ancient Israelites before the establishment of the monarchy. According to the Book of Judges, he was a leader of the twelve tribes of Israel who was granted superhuman strength by God. He is frequently compared to other Near Eastern and Greek folk heroes, such as Gilgamesh, Enkidu, and Heracles.
