Chililabombwe is a small town situated in the Copperbelt Province of Zambia. It is located near the border of the Democratic Republic of the Congo and lies on the T3 road, approximately 20 km north of Chingola and 17 km south of the Kasumbalesa border market.
The name Chililabombwe translates to "place of the croaking frog" in the local Lamba language. Based on 2010 census data, the town has a population of 87,000, making it one of the largest towns within the Copperbelt region. The primary economic activity in the area is copper mining.
