Sinazongwe is a town located in the Southern Province of Zambia. Situated on the north shore of Lake Kariba, it was established during the 1950s to serve as a local administrative center.
The primary industry in Sinazongwe is kapenta fishing. The town features essential infrastructure including an airstrip and a lighthouse, and it serves as a point of departure for ferries traveling to Chete Island. Additionally, the area is home to The Houseboat Company.
