Chavuma is a town located in the North-Western Province of Zambia. It is situated along the Zambezi River, approximately 1,100 kilometers from the capital city of Lusaka.
The town lies immediately south of the border with Angola, specifically about 11 kilometers from the Angolan border town of Kalipande. Notable local features include the Chavuma Falls and a market situated on the border that facilitates trade between people from both nations.
